As we enter the Christmas season we are reminded of the words of the angels who announced the birth of our Lord, "Peace on earth and good will towared men," yet Jesus, Himself said, "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword," and Paul reminds us that in the last days "Periouus times will come."  

This may all sound confusing. Did Jesus come to bring peace of didn't He? Every statement is true.  Jesus does bring peace...and there is the sword that divides....and perilous times are upon us...BUT, knowing Him provides peace in the midst of all the division and turmoil and terrorism that we are facing today.

Knowing Him, not just knowning about Him, is the answer that provides true peace, no matter what the circumstances are around us. 

Revelation 5:13-14   "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"  Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
